Our Opening Sequence Overall

We feel our opening sequence was a success.
The most successful parts were the different camera shots, the storyline and the switch between different locations.

Although we encounted a couple of problems, like making the boy & girl sequence paralell to each other and having no speech in, we still thought it was a success!

We wish we could have made it into a film.
And would like to do it again.

Feedback

Our feedback from our audience was very good. The comments were all positive. The audience identified the main plot, the main characters and the basic storyline of our opening sequence. Also they commented saying the pace of the opening sequence was fast enough to realise the storyline and said the music fitted in well with the pace and type of opening sequence.

Overall the feedback was very positive and all said they would watch it if it was turned into a film.

we actually have finished now!

and after much editing and re-organising,

we're extremely happy with our opening sequence. 

we're now awaiting audience feedback and we are about to put our final edit on our blog :)

we've spent the last week touching up clips and cutting them down.

Also choosing our final piece of music and the sound effects to accompany our opening sequence. 

We are proud of our end pice :)

it really communicates what we wanted to :)

Wow!

Hi :)

We have now got our rough edit! 

Unfortunately it was 4 minutes long, so we have cut a lot of footage.

We are re-filming the college scenes as our audience said they were not dramatic and big enough to show any significance to our opening sequence.

We know how to make it better. 

Hopefully we will be done by the end of today and can focus on editting. 

We also need to find some new music as ours isn't fast enough and is too 'morning like'

we have looked through some CDs now and are choosing between two or three ones we have found.

Christmas is over :(

Hiiiiiiiiiii :)

We all had a fabidoosa holiday!

Today we have decided to come up with a name.

Here are a few possibilities:

Monday and Tuesday.. thank god its christmas!

Firstly, Louise is taking the camera out over christmas to film the rest of our basic footage then when we come back, we can edit to make the perfect opening sequence to our film. 

Secondly, this week we have managed to film the footage which was needed from college and edit the bits we didn't need. We have edited the parts with the boy in and combined the shots together to begin to create a character introduction for the boy. We have also edited the footage from college and made it flow with each other scenes. 

Also we have planned the shots and filming order for the next piece of footage being recorded over christmas. Our plans for editing are in place after christmas, as we have done all the editing we can on the footage we have so far.
